Welcome to Lauren G Does Hair! I am a Chicago-based stylist who specializes in: Color: Blondes, Lived-In Balayage, Root Touch-ups, and Brunette Glosses Cuts: Bobs, Lobs, Long Layers and curtain bangs Styling: voluminous blowouts, beach waves, curls and flat-iron styles My goal is to give my guests the perfect color and cut for them while maintaining the health and integrity of their hair. I went to beauty school at Paul Mitchell in Chicago after leaving a ten-year career at Nordstrom. I have always had a passion for hair and was constantly helping friends and family with at-home color and styling so I had the idea to use my background in fashion and customer service to make a career shift in 2019. Now, I get to use all those skills to make people feel great when the look in the mirror. There is no better feeling than seeing how happy people are when they leave my chair with fresh, beautiful hair! Prior to opening Lauren G Does Hair, I worked at Swerve Salon in Old Town but now it’s time to go out on my own and see all of your beautiful faces in my own space In my free time, I love spending time with my fiancé and our animals (a dog named Huckleberry and a cat named Ronan). I enjoy going to new restaurants and finding a great happy hour spot to catch up with my girlfriends. I like to have fun with my guests in the salon and you can always find me chatting (loudly) about my current reads, favorite internet niche interests of the week and dramatic tv shows that take over my life. I’m so excited to see you in the salon and give you the hair of your dreams!

Cancellation Policy

I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment
